Anyone else go to the cinema showing of Roger Waters The Wall last night? Impressive show but I can't decide whether it was an impressive artistic interpretation of psychosis or a super-masssive ego explosion!

That's a Pink Floyd line I never understood. What kind of person would prefer pudding to meat? ๐Ÿ˜•

I think to understand that you might have needed to eat school dinners in the early 70s. Quality it was not

You clearly never had a Scottish psycho as a teacher. Or than unique form of "meat" found in school dinners.

Indeed, I love meat but I can remember biting into 70's scool dinner pork chop that was a combination of concrete and tramps armpit juice.

Just had a flashback to the spam fritters that used to be served at my Primary school. Even as 7 years old I remember thinking how disgusting they were.

I can't remember much about the main courses at school, but the puddings were great. Chocolate sponge with pink custard being top of the list.

What is the movie that's out, is it a film of the recent Wall tour ?

My junior school dinners in the 70's were excellent.
Pink custard on choccy pud. Yummy.

Main course has to be eaten before you can have your pudding, simple.
Have you never been threatened with no pudding (either for not eating your dinner or being a little shit).

Ooh yes, when you cut into them a big flood of grease ran out onto the plate.

"Them that eats most pudding gets most meat"
Yorkshire trick serve the Yorkshire pudding first with gravy kids pig out on the cheap Yorkshire pudding and are too full to eat the second course of meat so plenty of meat to go round and make sandwiches and teas for the week ahead .

Yes, but iirc it was "one night only" at the cinemas, which you (and I) have now seemingly missed..

there's a memory that didn't need re-awakening.

which you (and I) have now seemingly missed..

..and nearly everyone else judging by the poor turnout where we were. Leo Sayer in the main auditorium was doing much better business.
