Phil - apologise to Jo for me. I completely forgot to look for it last night after the excitement of another iDiet thread. Jo's skinny though so there must be something to oatshakes.

Ton - Is it back to working again for you?

lol no problems dude, he can't even remember what bits from the headset were missing despite being sober that night!

he is skinny, lost about 3 stone over past 6 months without trying. one of those blends everyday mid afternoon, uses them as a pre-ride meal too.

There's plenty of posts out there already about people's experience on it. As others have said, if it interests you then try it and see (although it you're already 60kg and 6' tall then it's probably not going to produce visual results any time soon.

If you're going to do it though then at least actually do it as documented, 50% of people 'on it' seem to make their only little adaptations which at that point kind of then stops being the iDave diet.

For me it's a bit of a step too far in terms of lifestyle change (mostly because I'm lazy and lack self-discipline) so end up falling off the wagon pretty often. I also think my appetite seems to adjust the wrong way (e.g. 3 eggs for breakfast was fine for a week or two until lunch time but now I get hungry by about 10am). I also need milk in my tea :p

The idiet works.

I used to eat all the same food groups as you do. You won't miss them.

I used it as an excuse to learn to cook meals (curry for one) from the raw ingredients. Playing with the spices, this has kept me interested in it.

I lost over 2 stone in a year and I now don't do it as strict as I used to. I now have Friday night off (take away curry night)as well as Saturday (sandwhich for lunch, pasta for tea), and a cheeky Roast Spud with my Sunday tea. I'm maintaining my weight and if it does increase, due to Christmas excess, I just go strict again.

At least this gives the iStalkers something to laugh about...

Any chance of setting up a new forum for any new threads on this topic?

Quick question for you idieters...
What happens when you get to your target weight ...how do you stop loosing weight ...is it a natural thing or do you kind of taper off and introduce some other foods or eat more .....
It's just that I've lost 2 stone since Xmas and looking a bit thin .."...

weight tends to stabilise. do some resistance training to buff up if you're worried.

"Lemon in tea has turned out to be surprisingly pleasant"

On the subject of hot drinks - what does the iDave diet have to say about soy milk? I get depressed and angry without drinking several lattes every day.

Soy milks full of sugar as I recall. I am pretty sure it is off limits.

Try an Americano instead, they're almost as good (espresso with hot water BTW)
