Conveniently placed cameras for that jackknife I thought. I reckon they had a wrecked truck and thought could use for some 'stunt work' to spice up last episode - I may be overanalysing this however ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh goody, more iffy incident set ups and wobbly camera angles.

Ever noticed when two trucks pass the music gets higher and higher and then they play the noise of a truck horn? ๐Ÿ˜†

I found myself adding the King of Obsolete's blog to my favourites and it gets read regularly. Do hope he's back for this series, quite fascinated by his vehicles of all descriptions!

If you like watching stuff about trucking there's a series on Quest called 'Supertruckers' about wide loads over here.
I saw a couple of episodes on Quest the other month about trucking in Australia, similar to the Canadian stuff but swap the ice & snow for sand & bulldust.

My Uncle used to be a mine manager out in the Yukon. I've never actually watched Ice Road Truckers but if it i is anything like the tales he used to tell then life is very very tough out there. I really wish I'd had more chance to talk to him about his exploits before he died.

Is Porkchop still employed, only see it sporadically but he seemed way out of his depth

It's quite funny watching IRT, we were filmed for SuperTruckers last year, makes you realise how real, reality TV is.

We may be on the show on Friday, they filmed us wrapping and applying the graphics to their new trucks. A few bits to camera and a bit of a staged phone call with Steve "The Boss" It was quite funny, and you have to remember to think before you speak when your wearing a radio mic ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I'm beginning to smell a rat. Anyone know why Mark would say his truck would be off the road and cost him thousands after Art jack-knifed? Looked like just a bit of bent fibre glass to me? Or is there more to it than that?

The repair may be fairly cheap but if the truck is off the road and not earning then it will cost him thousands.
