I like to call these things that pop occasionally meta threads.

Threads about threads. Its like there is a sub forum where people just post about stuff on the forum rather than - you know - bikes and stuff or even general OT stuff like planes on a conveyor belt.

I think what we need is meta meta threads. Threads about threads about threads. Where the truly dedicated can pontificate themselves into a foaming mess over bannings and forum moderation.

I like to call these things that pop occasionally meta threads.
