Has anyone got one they could recommend? I'm not keen on having constant problems with jammed up blades. It'll be for just the usual type of work, chomping down twigs. I've a load of bamboo to clear, general shrubs to cut back and a fir tree to take down. Any burnable wood will be getting kept, all the small stuff I'd like to mulch down. There are a lot that advertise being able to handle 40mm but I have doubts.
I don't want a petrol one as it will only be getting used 2-3x a year and I find my petrol machines degrade if they're not used much.
Bosch with a blade. Better than the old one with worm drive (only lasted 12 years including swallowing the branches from a 40 foot pine tree). Does not tolerate stones but blades are replaceable. Doesn't jam.
