Bullheart=AWESOME, great news.
Again, just a lurker but followed from the start.
Bloody fantastic news. really really pleased.
I think sweaty eyes does sum it up..
Incredible, you're like a cycling Wolverine!
Fantastic news! ๐
Really, really pleased here ๐
Remember we're dealing with the unknown here. It may come back in three months time. It might be three years. Or maybe never. There simply isn't any way of knowing yet.
But if it does, I'll be waiting. It'd better bring an army with it.
I'm still wating to meet up for a pint like you promised about fifty nine years ago.... ๐ฅ
Can we have Bullheart pants and thongs then? Can we? PLEEEEEEAAASSEEEEEE????
awesome news mark! well done...just shows what a cantankerous nature can do for ya!
still using the raod bike? ๐
"This hasn't happened before. I've seen a great many things as a doctor that science simply cannot explain. You may well be one of those things. Stay prepared, but go and live your life - you've worked hard for it"
That has got to be the nicest paragraph I have ever seen posted on STW.
๐
The best news.
Now go and sort out those riots...
This thread is one of the most truly inspirational things I have ever read.

Pretty much every week mate! Christ its good to here from you. Cycling with Lance, jetting off for road cycling, lucky bugger....
How's Gemma? Are you up for a call later/tomorrow?
Mark you are a freak!!! In the nicest possible way of course. You may have had support here and elsewhere but you are still a freak.
It might come back, might not. That doesn't stop all the days of it gone being pretty special.
Great news. Brilliant.
You pissed on cancers chips there mate.
Bloody good effort!

Best post ever on STW. Incredible news for you and yours Mark. I have no doubt that a life lived in the spirit shown thus far will be a remarkable one. Enjoy ๐
All down to those white wheels I reckon. Fantastic news Mark, and I look forward to our paths crossing again sometime, hopefully in the not to distant future.
Fantastic news bullheart - I'll have to share this(thread) with other folk.
Truly inspirational, everytime I see this thread has an update I'm hesitant in checking in.
Glad my worst fears have never materialised.
So, you are the only person to have beat this, puts Olympic champions, TDF winners etc to shame ๐
The surgery team who did your heart op must be 'kin magicians. Them and the chemo bods. Chapeau.
Great news, as per others I have followed your journey on and off over the last couple years. I do have an important question though:
"I will however be having a reverse 'stag-do' when I'm better next year; probably in Yorkshire, definitely with all of you, and proudly displaying scars on a body that you all helped to save. I give you my word"
Did the above session happen? If not count me in for a pint
Amazing news mate, remember crying early on in this thread and almost doing so again.
Had some bad news last week and so great to hear something positive, especially on here.
Go hard or go home, you appear to have done both.
Truly great news. Inspirational.
Superb news
Incredible news, made me well up a bit!
will you have my babies?
Absolutely amazing news!
Congratulations
๐
We're in deeper Norfolk on holiday. I have the shittest Internet connection on my phone and it's just taken 20 mins to trawl back to the important post.
And now I really don't know what to say. Nothing adequate comes to mind certainly!!! ๐
Mark, just effing well done mate. That's shit-hot news. I raise a glass ( well plastic mug) of beer to your good health sir!
Love ya!! ๐
Is it too early to start a Sports Personality of the Year campaign?????
will you have my babies?
Er, that's the other thing...
Meg's pregnant. There is a little Bullheart on the way.
The world is doomed.

Ease up on the "personality" bit, yeah?
๐
Fantastic news all round!! Well done!!
So who are you fighting next then BH? A volcano? ๐
Er, that's the other thing...Meg's pregnant. There is a little Bullheart on the way.
The world is doomed.
Congratulations, glad to hear the most important part is functioning ok!
Excellent news bullheart. Really an amazing outcome. It could be that you have some sort of immune reaction to your mets? It's isn't unknown in certain sarcoma's (eg. stage IV neurobalastoma). I worked for 7 year in sarcoma research at RM/ICR Sutton - there is plenty we still don't know unfortunately.
Absolutely wonderful news.....congratulations and well done!
Now wheres that bloody snotrag.
bullheart, your attitude is aspirational. high5 ๐

The world is doomed.
Utterly brilliant (the 'pregnancy' bit, not the 'world doomed' bit....) ๐
Splendiferous news, cheered me no end.
I'd suggest that you are indeed tougher than Snake Plissken, or even Donovan from 'V'...
Just don't let the US military hear about your antics else you'd be coerced into sorting out them Iranians single handedly.
bullheart= born under the sign of the honey badger!
Congratulations (on being clear) and congratulations (on baby bullheart).
From bunnyhop and nbt XX
Amazing, simply amazing.
There is a little Bullheart on the way.
Call him/her Flash. Do it! Do it!
Well I'm impressed!
That's one of those real proper medical miracle stories which to be fair are (or would be) life-rafts for those facing terminal illness or disability.
Like the Hungarian strongman who broke his neck and refused to take it sitting down, so to speak.. and recovered.
Channel 4 made a programme about him, they'd make one about you too I'm sure ๐
It could be that you have some sort of immune reaction to your mets?
Hmm.. fascinating thing the immune system innit?
Fantastic news - and congratulations on baby bullheart too! A remarkable and inspirational story - well done and thankyou for keeping us all posted.
Meg's pregnant. There is a little Bullheart on the way.
DOUBLE AWESOME. Congrats.
