mrsconsequence agrees  ๐Ÿ˜†

If you are attempting to try and sell it to my other half then please don't..... you will be in big trouble. He's been out in the garden flying his big one aroun for 10 minutes now. Hoping the battery dies soon ๐Ÿ™

I'm afraid 5 minutes would be enough with that toy - seems to be my limit for most things ๐Ÿ˜‰

Blimey what have I done! I only started the thread to get some sympathy!

Ha ha! Well that din't work, did it? ๐Ÿ˜†

Remote control helicopters rawk. If you can't see this, then you are simply uncaring and insensitive to a man's needs. In fact maybe your boyf would actually be better off without you....

I don't live with my mum. She was just visiting.

She still tells me what to do, in my own home, mind... ๐Ÿ˜€

๐Ÿ˜†

If only. She comes in, sits down, demands tea, then does her Sodoku.

Then moans when I fly a tiny remote controled helicopter around in my own home. ๐Ÿ™„

I dunno...

In fact, I may charge up the batteries in a bit and annoy Mrs Feet, scare the cat and blow the newspaper around the house with it ๐Ÿ˜€

That's identical to my one, Cheesy! Apart from the colour scheme.

Mine's impossible to fly really. Just spins around too much, and you're constantly fiddling with the trim. I suspect it's performance may be compromised even further following the horrific accident with the lampshade.

If I told my mum I managed to destroy the lampshade by messing about, she'd probbly give me a clip round the earhole and call me an idiot. She'd probbly be justified, too. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I don't find remote control things exciting at all.

edit - actually the camera one looks cool, but I wouldn't trust myself strapping a 7D to that!

Fred, took me ages to get the hang of getting it off the ground, yes there's a bit of trimming to be done, but found the best way was to give it more power and properly airborne straight away whilst feeding in more stick input to counter the rotation if it happens.

Now lusting after something a bit 'better', ideally in kit form so. Can build it up myself

When I used to ride at Western Park pretty much every day, most weekends and sometimes in the week there was this group of middle-aged men who used to take their petrol-powered rc cars over the jumps and stuff then giggle when they crashed. How sad ๐Ÿ˜†

Phil - That airborne camera link has just shown me the perfect accessory to go with my GoPro Xmas present. How cool would it be to have it flying down the trail in front of you!!!!!!!

I wonder how fast it is.

Perhaps this is why you are still single TSY? Some things require more than a minutes attention ๐Ÿ™„

mmmm... I used to love that tamiya goodness.. until I discovered women and booze

strangely I never even briefly considered RC toys ever again..

does this reflect anything about RC toys and their adult fans..?

Don't know about the choppers, but I so want one of these:

the Parrot AR Drone, as mentioned previously. Love the fact that you can see via it's cameras what it's seeing on an iPhone. Great fun.
