12 to eat with riding buddies this eve (I didn't ride) and 12 to take to work tomorrow.

I am the only male in a cohort of 9 dieting females.

I will update on my weakness tomorrow....

Eat them now, they won't taste as good tomorrow.

My colleague bought a box of twelve in for the office to share. The office collectively enjoyed six of them. I felt a little ill.

I don't get Krispy Kremes, a freshly fried ring donut covered in cinnamon sugar is so much nicer. Even 5 for a £1 Sainsburys custard donuts are nicer. They are ridiculously expensive too

I don't get them either, seems another brand that's popular as it's a brand.

Gimme a Greggs pineapple tart anytime, or even better the huge strawb tarts sainsbury do at the patisserie.....

They are bonkers expensive, yes..
But they are significantly fancier and tastier.
Hence, I'm fancier and tastier...

Me either, but they are popular.

Fridays in the office and you can guarantee there are at least two boxes floating around.

Is 3 bad? I had 3 last night, 2 the night before that... I'm not a big fan normally due to the cost.

Although at 19p a pop I can make very short work of several chocolate ring donuts from Lidl... 😳

It's only 60 if you eat the whole thing.
Clearly some sugar/crumbs fall on your lap. So really, about 40 calories.

Agreed!

I'm a sweet toothed glutton and operate like a black hole drawing in and devouring biscuits mercilessly. Krispy Cremes are just over sweet and a bit sickly

How can anyone justify charging those prices for a doughnut? Surely that's bordering on extortion? 😯

You should feel remorse. They're not very nice and overpriced to boot. You could have eaten yourself to death with Morrisons jam donuts and had change left for the funeral.

See also Dominos Pizza, Nandos, 5 Guys and whatever other imported nonsense is cool at the moment.

It's more daft to pay £3 for a coffee, than £2 for a donut!

After reading this we "stumbled upon" a local pie shop that sold them. I could feel my teeth melt as we ate them. So good.

Working in poncy London, we have a Brazilian bakery neraby that do all kinds of doughnuts flavoured with all manner of nice stuff, properly deep fried fresh , my favourite are lime flavoured ones
.

So much nicer than the ridiculous sugar hit of krappy kremes
