I guess this probably is 'too many' tools. And I never thought that possible!

How do you acquire so much stuff, if you only ever use a few spanners? Even if you're getting it given to you, surely you would sell stuff off before the collection got to this size?

So many questions....

What's wrong with some zip-ties and some duct tape?

£0.99 to £25K in 8 days - not bad

I predict eBay will be awash with Snap-on separates for the next year or so 🙂

Similar to what I was thinking - you could double your money by reselling it in smaller lots.

I beg to differ based on the Golden Rules Of Precision Engineering

If it moves and it isn't supposed to - duct tape it
If it doesn't move and it is supposed to, wd40 it
If it still doesn't move - hit it with a hammer

Every man needs a hammer

Ok, ok, I'll concede that point... though I tend to use the nearest available rock.

Rocks dont really work for precision work though.
plus you can't wave them about in an "I know what I'm doing" kind of way

What about a bit of wood? That seems acceptable to me.

I PREFER BANK TRANSFER OR CASH ON COLLECTION

Certainly..

[img] [/img]

THIS LOT WILL NEAD A VAN TO SHIFT IT ,YOU WILL NOT GET IT IN A CAR I ESTIMATE THE WEIGHT TO BE OVER 1500KG

And if you can be bothered to scroll through all the pictures, the comments are pretty funny.

Q: I will happily put in a massive bid to win... but only if the set includes a two-tone left handed cornflake magnet? Can you please confirm this is the case or not. Thanks

Q: I've been looking for a 2mm ball-headed allen key for ages - will you split?

😀

Yes there is. Bottom drawer, on the left. Next to the tea mug and magnet on a stick.

He's got more? 😯
He must be causing a disturbance in the earth's magnetic field with that lot alone.

He's got more?

If you check his feedback, it looks like he's also sold some already.

Why does anyone need that many adjustable spanners? Especially if you've already got every type of non adjustable spanner known to man?

He should bury the lot in a nearby beach and have metal detector enthusiasts (with a tool requirement) pay him to go find them. That would be much more fun. And profitable.
