Following on from [url= http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/how-would-you-make-a-horrible-histories-cake ]the thread posted a few months ago[/url], today I started and finished the 'horrible histories' cake for my lad's birthday!
Tonnes of sugar, dozens of eggs, too much butter, and it's all done!
We've got the 'worms and guts' in there, a nice victoria sponge cake, and a far too luxurious chocolate brownie coffin!

TBH I'm feeling pretty sick of fatty sugary cake, so hope the guests at the party tomorrow take it all away!!!

I'll be honest, i saw the first picture as i opened the thread and thought that was it and struggled to think of something complimentary i could say (not the STW way of course). But the actual finished thing looks great. Love the coffin idea. My nephews birthday is coming up and he's into ghost and monster films and cartoons. You've inspired me.
