It's a long way for me.. longer than I though it was anyway but I did do it twice ๐Ÿ™‚

3m36 it took, which is absolutely terrible.

Two things now.

Last night I rode home trying to go fast. I felt reasonably good although av speed wasn't brilliant, but my HR was 10bpm lower than I'd have expected given the effort, and I was puffing and blowing a lot. This is the other way round for me, usually my HR is sky high and my legs give out long before I have to breathe heavily. Weird.

The other thing is, this morning I did a pee strip test and I had moderate ketone levels. Does this mean I am not getting enough carbs overall? Is it meant to be ketogenic?

A 'pee strip' sounds very specialist to me. Does it involve plastic sheeting and nipple tassles?

...either that or he is such a virile son of a gun he is testing his pee in case he has impregnated himself.

Yes, it's like ketamine, in that the first three letters are the same. Just like carpet and Caravaggio.

You should have more legumes MG, it's not supposed to be a low carb diet.

Note to DD - I did not suggest to MG that he buy wee-test strips, nor did I sell him any, nor do I intend to supply him with chick peas ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yes BWD. EXACTLY like ketamine. If Molgrips doesn't eat a raw potato within the next 3 minutes he will start crawling around on the floor.

What I want to know is... can I eat a whole bag of mini-eggs and not worry about it if I've done 50 miles on the bike?

I suspected as much during the first week, but am not sure I cannot get any more of them down my gob without barfing.

I read that the ketones could be due or at least exacerbated by having not eaten (it was before breakfast). Tried it after lunch (and no exercise, didn't ride in today) and there was only a little bit of ketones.

Well it seems to be working.

The trousers I am wearing fit me at the waist snugly last time I wore them about three weeks ago.

Now I am cinching in a good 1-2" with the belt.

Shit I thought ketamine was on the iDiet I've just been looking at myself in 6th person for 8 hours... least I've lost an inch or 2 off my pant line..
