Quite like it. Totally un-usable on our roads though. Would make a lovely kitted out bike/surf wagon though!

Probably have to buy the terrace next door and knock it down.

yeah, I'm gonna get me one of them gurkhas, with the tactical seating, the detachable winch AND the fording kit.

I'll need a towbar for the caravan too.

That is a very silly thing.

I am mildly amazed to see from RepacK's link that armoured cars have to comply with a CEN European armor level. 🙂

Repack - Nowt wrong with a Heli-Bedford, far more reliable than the 'newer' DAFs that were supposed to replace them.

Slow as hell mind you, but reliable.

Of course if you want a Bedford-a-like with armour, get yourself a Mastiff.

Great for using to move homes in Peckham.

Oooooh a DAF - we used to dream of DAFS when I were a soldier. Sitting by the roadside in the rain with nothing but a tactical leaf to keep the rain off us.. 😉

if you have a problem if no once else can help and if you can find them may be you can hire the A-Team ....dont be too surprised when some vertically challenged Vietnam vets turn up though judging by the size of their van

WANT IT!

No hang on, that Mastiff looks boss! You could grow trellis plants up the outside, maybe some Ivy or something. That would look nice.

EDIT: No, want the really big one Spongebath has posted!!!!!!!! Can put guns on it?

I want the buggy ken_shields put up: nice and manouverable around town with the 50cal for taxis and chavs in Saxos and Corsas. The South African army used to have a really trick APC with a wedge-shaped under-hull for deflecting explosive devises in the road. Why didn't our military buy a load for Iraq?
