Served my apprenticeship in that industry, and loved every day, and not much improvement in H and S, plastic hard hat, and safety boots,gloves if you could get any.
Looks like the metalwork shop at school. Well, scaled up a bit.

It is my job to read industrial specifications. I've seen Ethical Policy Documents and other such nonsense that are as big as the spec for that entire loco.
