[#8176683]

Been given some pretty high end hifi gubbins which were apparently damaged by water immersion. Some of then just worked, so have been pressed into use in the mancave, but I have a power amp and a tuner that will power on but don't seem to want to work.

Any ideas how to get rid? Seems a shame to tip them. Any repairers worth trying?

I know someone who used to be an engineer for Quad... trying to get something uber cheap (i.e. free) for him to fix for me....

Excellent - do you want some to practice on? Postage only unless you live nearby and can come get it?

Take it to the tip and watch the hi-viz drones scuttle over to you and say they'll take it for recycling

Sure
