Going on the early figures at 37 years, 3 months and 2 weeks, and being a teacher, who specialised in ICT when he trained, I claim my status as the ultimate captain average.
Do I get a t-shirt or something?
Maybe a feature in the mag about a truly average rider (in pretty much every respect, if you count the trailer I probably have 2.4 bikes!)

Poorly repaired garden, yes sir!
Octavia estate, damn, no. But a 14 year old Micra is pretty average (wanders off wondering if he wants an Octavia, maybe Skoda could sponsor me...)

I'm a teacher (but you already know that)

Well done, good work. To improve your work have you considered trying to correlate age with profession and wage? Perhaps you could work in some kind of contentedness quotient?

I'd prefer to ride my bike though.

Hi,

I have done a bar chart, but no idea how to load it onto here...

As I know you're all DYING to know:

the youngest was 15 (x2) the oldest was 64(x2) the most "popular" ages were 30 and 33 (x30 each), followed by 39 (x26) 37 (x25) 38 (x22) 31 (x20) 32 34 41 (x19 each)33 (x18) 40 43 (x17 each) 29 47 (x15 each) 36 42 (x14 each) 26 (x13) the rest in mostly low single figures. There were no 16s, 59s, 61s, 62s or 63s.

Bumley, I called you a man, sorry there were no clues.

Karinofnine please, please, PLEASE put some p0rn on or something and stop doing statistics!!

Seriously, I have to do that for work a lot and hearing it mentioned on a site I go to to retain sanity is just too much!

But, I do have to say that I am glad I am under the average age. Not by much mind.

Okay, no more, but I do love the way those little numbers line up under neath each other and you can add them and divide them and do centiles and means and medians... that's what the voices say anyway.

Sorry Bumley! No offence intended:)

s**t! my bike's older than some people on here, it'll be old enough to vote next year. Well the frame, cranks, bars, ends and saddle are, rest of it has been replaced or upgraded at least once.
