Van and car are cleaned regular, I also have this theiry (Me being a business owner) if a person came to me in a works van/car that was a Tip on the inside aswell as the outside, they will not get the job, what kind of example is that saying to you that they are going to do a good job for you?
There is always time to give the vehicle a clean, Plus it makes you feel better to turn up looking smart and presentable at job.

I only use my car to ferry my MX bike and my mountain bikes around so it get's muddy every time I use it so no point in washing it. Well thats the excuse anyway.

Try to wash both cars every week. Takes about an hour. Scruffy car = scruffy owner, brakedust destroys alloys !

Probably 2-3 times a year, at the point when I get dirty just approaching it.
I clean the interior slightly more often.

3 times a week for both cars and hoover ever weekend the a quick run round the engine bay with a cloth maybe some GT 85 on the hoses! I have had this routine since i got my first car at 17. My family think its a bit of OCD and to be honest think its a bit of a joke they even call the sponge i use the crown jewels as nobody else get to use it.I also Polish them once a month too 😳

Never - I lend my van to friends from time to time and that is the deal, they have to wash it for me. I clean the mirrors and the front of the headlights tho obviously.

I clean the inside from time to time when it gets proper minging, and sweep the dirt out of the back when it drys.

I am with jd-boy on this tho, commercial vehicles should always look clean. I pass a construction company premises most days on my way to work and the first job of the day is cleaning the vans. Very professional !

In winter twice a week (and spray the underbody/wheel arches).

Past Feb to November. Never.

About twice. Once around May time to get rid of the winter muck, then again just before the MOT.

But I suffer from the opposite of OCD, dunno what it's called, I suspect laziness, but I'm going to call it Not OCD (NOCD).
Now I've named it, we should form a support group. Sounds like a bit of hassle though, so maybe not.

Nothing wrong with washing your car often. Bro in law loves it, waxes etc etc. When it lends me his car he CRINGES when I return it (cleaned)- my clean is appalling to him.

Whilst we are on it- how often do you wash your hair? Me- once every 6months or less.

My commuter car - when it's really dirty, sometimes plus a bit longer. My fun car, when it looks a bit dirty and it's lost it's watery shine. While it doesn't pray on my mind, it is nice to have a clean shiny car for your own satisfaction, I find. Plus leaving cars dirty means that when you wash it next you damage the paint, and when you use the wipers you scrape the windows. Oh, and leaving salt on your paintwork isn't great for body lifespan. It's just basic common sense really, and looking after your property, but it's not that much fun on a boring car so sometimes gets put out of mind!

Once a year usually, wich was just recently after so much salt and cack had built up. Once cleaned, a neighbour asked me if it was a new car because it had been covered in cack for so long. Pointless story, but she is a MILF so it took me off into fantasies such like that picture above...

Twice a week minimum.
Foam lance, rinse, 2 bucket wash using a lambs wool mit. Polished with Werkstat Carnauba kit at least once a fortnight. Clayed and machine compound/polished as necessary (once, maybe twice a year.)
Inside usually needs done once a month, likewise with the engine bay.
People always mention how well my cars are kept. I find it a very therapeutic and relaxing process and take a bit of pride in having a nice clean car. My uncle has a bodyshop so it'd been installed in me to look after my cars.
FWIW I also clean and polish my bikes after use. I'm a simple beast, I like shiny-shiny 😀
I always buy my cars with a colour I know will polish up well. Looking at a black X5 at the mo, that'll be a LOT of polishing! 😀

New (to me) car has been washed once by the dealer when it was serviced in the 3 years I've owned it.

Old car was never washed as couldn't be sure that it wasn't just the muck holding it together!

I wash my car when it goes in for a service. Which actually means they wash it for me.

Otherwise I wait until I crash it then it gets washed when they respray it 🙁

Once every few years but its a darkish green so dirt doesn't show so much. Had to go off road in the mud once and kept the big mud arc that resulted on either side - quite odd on a Puma in London I suppose.

Probably 8 times a year. Depends on how dirty it is, how bothered I am and if its raining on the weekend. Generally clean the whole lot in and out.

Its metallic grey / silver so rarely looks really dirty, but always comes up nice after a bath.

1st car Once, when trying to sell it. Had it 8 months. Scrapped in the end.
2nd car Once, when trying to sell it. Had it 12 months.
3rd car Twice, can't remember why. Had it 2 1/2 years.
4th car Never, had it a couple of months.
5th car Never, only had it 4 months so far.
Occasional hoover as they all seem to fill with pine needles.

Race bike gets complete strip and rebuild every ride...
