Music lessons - £35 per term - up front

Beavers - £4 per week - payable monthly in arrears

Tennis - £5 per week, payable per term in advance

Swimming club - £15 per month - a whole lot better and cost effective than swimming lessons at £9 per week. His little sister is on the waiting list for lessons through the club!

Said little sister starts school in September, so Rainbows, gymnastics and swimming club will be due from her. Thank God MrsMCTD will be returning to (financially) gainful employment at that tme!

Swimming club £2.50 per week

Movie club - free after school club

Cycle club - Weekly, free (I wonder why) 😉

Karate £2.50 twice a week

Dance class £4.50 per week

Brownies - £25 a term

Pay up front for all of them, not sure what happens if she misses a session, not done that yet.

She is only 8!

She also wannts to learn the Piano & do kick boxing, but both of those will have to wait!

Hmmmm, after you take into account, kit, competitions and gradings that comes to quite a sum, think she is doing tad much after typing that lot 😉

Ours are football/basketball/streetdance/boardgames/computer club/music/keep fit/homework/cookery/art/choir/athletics. Vary a bit term to term, community primary school. From half a dozen to about twenty kids per group. Doesn't cost the school either as they are run by teaching assistants who are paid pennies anyway and an extra hour and a half wages is a bonus for them.

Non school ones,

Guides, £1.50
Cubs, £2.50
Guitar private lesson £10/half hour
Streetdance £4
Stagecoach, too much, maybe £25 per 3hour sesh.

Interestingly, we're all about to pay considerably more with the devolution of the School Sport Partnership programme. Most of the coaching provided by SSCo's, external providers and coaches was subsidised by the SSP programme. Already had several meetings this year with coaches, National Governing Bodies and HT's (primary and secondary) with the price of AS clubs going through the roof.
