Seems a lot of folk on this thread are being fleeced.

As in it costs a lot to trim a fleece? 🤷‍♂️

New Turkish barber just opened down the road. £10 for pensioners. I shall be paying them a visit.

I 19 euros for mine. It’s also a Turkish run barbers/salon. Very hipster so usually lots of men with big beards and lots of tattoos but they do a good cut and you get a typicality hipster free drink included. Most I have ever paid was back in the day in London at trendy salon which was a 100 quid! Did look like a million dollars, though! 😉

There's nowhere near Edinburgh that cuts womens hair for less than £40, and that's for an apprentice. I bought clippers and did my own hair for about 3yrs, saving around £500. The world ain't ready for a woman in her 40's with a skinhead because she doesn't give a **** about commercial beauty standards though, but the Jimmy Krankie comments wore me down 🤣

Last 20 years? A Wahl clipper that cost me £9.99.
Then last month I bought a new Wahl Balding clipper (old clippers still working) that cost me £57.

I cut my hairs twice a month. 😃

Had mine cut yesterday by the young lad who also works with Winny, the bloke who’s shop it is, he did a really good job, beard trim and neck shave as well, for a tenner.
I didn’t even have to wait, straight into the chair. Sorted.

used to work round the corner from the London School of Barbering and visited there regularly for a free trim. never had a bad experience, the pro's always stepped in if the students were struggling.

its where i learnt to appreciate the attention to detail a good barber provides. I now i pay £20 for a haircut (incl tip) in Kingston.

my local barber is good too and will do it for a tenner, but i well CBA wasting my time on a weekend having me barnet chopped. that one in Kingston stays open late so just call in after work.
