I really miss my commute. It was 25 miles each way but only did that very rarely. Often I’d drive in with the car, commute home and commute back the next day. During summer it was bliss through Yorkshire Dales quiet lanes. Had lovely shower facilities at work.
I commuted to work by bike most of my working life - but not always the same commute. However the largest part of the time was using the north Edinburgh cycleway / WoL path which I also use a lot for leisure. Hard to know exactly how many times but into thousands for sure that I have cycled and walked this path in the last 32 years
Today was my 600th commute in. Just under 11,000 miles ridden. Shortest distance is 7.7 miles, longest was 32 miles (to and from the same location).
