About 6 years mostly under a different username.

I tend to get a bit bored of the arguments and infighting and stop visiting the site about once a year but so far I keep coming back. Can't see that pattern changing.

I logged on in the early noughties to sell a mojo.

Been taking it seriously since 2003 though, hope to keep it up long into retirement.

Not sure when it started, or why, or how long it will last.

I get bored of the whole thing periodically and then interested again. I do like being able ask just about any question and get an answer. It's a querulous google lite type thing.

2002, but I did go walkabout 2004-08.

I remember the exodus of loads of Surrey Hills/ND riders to Chocolate Foot. Can't say that was the most civilised of places to hang out though.

Er, a long time. 10 years, I'd guess (under another name previously).

Crikey.

You see that 10th Anniversary flash on the front of the mag?

That's a clue. ๐Ÿ™„

I got a login in 2003 as I wanted to sell a bike. Not sure how long I'll stay, I guess as long as I continue to be entertained...

EDIT: I have all the magazines (1 to 66 with two copies of issue 17 for some strange reason) but I've just cancelled my subscription so I guess that's going to end. (Went to Dirt for a change).

probably since the same year the very first SITS was . . .

there were 2 motley crew teams put together, basically people who were billy no mates, but who all came on here.

Made a good friend out of it, anyone else still nocking about?

11 years, didn't need an account to post on the forum back then so I usually just logged-in manually and that's the reason I stuck with such a short username.

I think the correct answer is:

'I was here first, with a single speeder before bikes were invented and before niche was anything but a term to describe a specific environmental setting.'

A long time ago.

I don't frequent the place much anymore, but do occasionally look in to check that some people are alive, and that the rest of you are still rehashing what's been written here a hundred times before.

Since about 80ish bikes ago ๐Ÿ˜† . Sheesh, this site has a lot to answer for ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Actually I even remember my first post - asking whether it was OK to file down a cassette cog to make the teeth longer for singlespeed use ๐Ÿ˜ณ - Brant replied iirc. Oh, and yes, it did work . . . sort of ๐Ÿ˜‰ (niche ratio or what ๐Ÿ˜† )

you know you can also file a whole tooth off completely to increase the gear ratio too?
