Another 1st world problem. My washing machine likes to plait my shirtsleeves.

5 mins of untangling every time, deep creases in the sleeves, and it's probably not doing the fabric any good.
What on earth am I do to about it?
Put the shirts into some kid of netting bag? Or cut the sleeves off.
re train as a plasterer

Don't put too many shirts in together. (max 3 per wash, ideally only 1 or 2).
Especially if they're double cuffs...
You put shirts in the washing machine? Is the local dry cleaners crap or something?

Cut the arms off and go for the short sleeve look.

Why don't you try buttoning the cuffs to the shirt, or buttoning them to each other, or to another shirt, so they are linked?
Hmmm, probably try buttoning the sleeves to each other or to the shirt.
Or maybe you use cufflinks?...
(Haven't tried any of these btw)

The wife-beater is an unfairly maligned item of clothing. Grow a mullet too, to really send out a message

just pull the shirt sleeves inside out so they rest inside the shirt in the washing machine... no dangly bits to get tangled up 🙂

I reckon the seemingly placid Onslo would smash the gobby Nesbit into the middle of next week.
I think the sleeves inside out could be a winning idea!
Not sure about buttoning to the front - given how tightly wound they can get, I might find myself with fewer buttons.
I can think of better ways to spend £70 a month than on my shirts.
They get washed at 40, and the light colours are fine with the whites

The "flesh" shirt: it's funny flourescent eco lighting and a camera phone. it's a pale pink shirt and looks fabulous on me today.
nbt, I quite like that one too, Hawes and Curtis, but I bought it before I found the fitted/tailored/slim fit ones, so it's a bit of a sail compared to the others.
Pastry? Maybe if I put the flour, butter etc in the drum, and the jam in the powder tray...?
