What do you wear on your feet around the house?

My flip flops just died, so thinking of slippers but last time I had some they got a bit to warm in the summer.

So what do the you wear to keep the bottom of your feet warm and good all year round?

I always have been a barefoot person, but tiled floors are cold in the winter so I have some proper grandad style slippers for the colder months, but as soon as I'm in the lounge where the carpet is, I kick them off.

Not flip flops - nasty noisy slappy things, and too easy to trip over on the stairs. Slippers or nowt. (Or shoes if the missus isn't looking.)

Nowt, crocs or slippers, sometimes with socks sometimes without. Depends on temperature and inclination.

sheepskin slippers with a proper back to them. Warm in winter, not too sweaty in summer, and because they're not loose at the back, I don't die coming down the stairs.

edit:

I don't die coming down the stairs.

well, unless the OH catches me fapping away at the top of them, obviously 😉

Totes, or an old pair of running Asics with no laces.
If I'm ever in Primark I usually but a pair of those £2.50 lace-up plims though. They last ages if only worn indoors.

I thought crocs urgh too

Offshore crocs are one of the few things your allowed to wear in accomodation block that are easy to get on and off..

Fund them quite comfy

Still dont venture out in them.

Fleece lined jalettes by the front door for that.

Mostly barefoot, though currently wearing socks as I'm feeling the cold. Flip-flops are for leaving by the front door if I want to nip outside (and it's too wet to want to do that barefooted).
