More R&S... How many tunes were influenced by this one? I remember getting rather tired of songs featuring the hoover at one point.
I'm very fond of this one
2 Bad Mice
Oh, what a TUNE!!!
Still keep finding old tracks I used to listen to, mostly rave stuff, wasn't so much a house fan after rave music. Found this, not sure I remember it, probably heard it, bit cheesy for me, but quite like it... housey-ish I think.
I’m very fond of this one
So good!
Even better when Floor Federation 'Music For The Masses' drops into it. One of the all-time great Sasha mixes, recreated here https://soundcloud.com/nic-hathway/sasha-2016 - 2 Bad Mice from ~20 mins in, the mix at ~20:50 in. A real goosebumper.
And "Tell Me Why" - I'd forgotten about that one, a top Club Kinetic tune
Check it out,
New Order - Crystal (Lee Combs remix);
Some great tunes on here. Talking of Gat Decor "Passion". I've got an original 12" of it from Flying Records in Italy. Doesn't get played very often as it's probably my most treasured bit of vinyl.
Sasha back in the day was an inspiration. So many classic tunes here as well.
Another favourite for me is Greg Wilson. First class remixes and mixes with a house/disco feel

On the disco theme,
On the freestylers, they were pretty regular at Blowpop at the Blue Mountain Club in Brizzle. Those were great days.
Guerilla records had some quality releases , still play this when on the sons decks.
Couple of mixes for you, both from
Pressure Radio.
Andy Tomlinson’s Decades of House is always a good show and a there’s a new one most weeks.
https://www.mixcloud.com/andytommo/decades-of-house-12th-feb-2023/
And Andy Ward’s Vocal Booth show is also top class, and again weekly.

Just watched this on youtube , I must admit I'd never heard of the club or the promoter. What a soundtrack in this Joey Beltram , Capricorn and Drum club at the end. First class.
Time for a bit of class,
Tori Amos - Professional Widow (AVH remix)
Surprised we haven't had these two yet,
Inner City - Good Life;
Big Fun;
Last breakbeat tune, I promise;
Dylan Rhymes - The Way (E9 remix),
Several good remixes of this;
UNKLE - Reign feat Ian Brown (false prophet remix),
Ok ok ok maybe this is the B.O.T.A...
Just finished listening to DJ Paulette's Essential mix. Tres bon.
"DJ Paulette joins the musical dots of her outstanding 30-year career with two hours of pure house music. Featuring tracks from Floorplan, Larry Heard, and Special Request."

I’d suggest listening to Hot Since 82 if this is your kind of thing. Don’t know how to embed videos, sorry, but here’s a link.
Thanks - that was a great recommendation. I'd heard the name but hadn't listened until now. Excellent, right to my tastes. The 'Live from a Pirate Ship' and 'Live from a Lagoon' mixes on YT are good. Currently listening to his Recovery album.
I heard Channel Tres on 6 music yesterday for the first time and he really reminded me of Moodymann who I'm a big fan of.
Ok this isn't really house music .. but it'd fit into a deep/progressive house set for sure. I pulled out an old Royksopp album for the drive somewhere this week. Not listened to it in 12 years or more. Thought it was all fairly ok/average, until this. Really took me by suprise. Incredible - powerful, moody, just stunning. I'd be amazed if it had never made it into a film soundtrack or a computer game.
Reminds me a little of this track, first heard in the middle of a deep/techy prog house mix and .. wow. It's quite dark and a bit of a buzzkill in a way on it's own but the whole mix is so good at times. Stick with it to the break as it's a slow burner. Vocals are by Sting's daughter Eliot Sumner, popfans.
Is this house music? LOL!
@jameso – nice to see another Legends regular. I loved that place
Have you read the Vice article
The Small Town Nightclub That Quietly Changed British Clubbing Forever
Just been happily going through this thread again for Friday afternoon jukebox, missed this @binners. Legends forever! Great article, I hadn't seen it or appreciated the background of it all. Along similar lines I enjoyed Grayson Perry's recent series on Englishness on the BBC where he covered the Northern Soul scene.
Sounding quite polished/progressive for 1992. Sasha tho.
I pulled out an old Royksopp album
Good god man u didn't know about this.....
Does tear the roof off like!
Haha not House again
Don't think we've actually posted this badboy yet.
Blackbox - Ride on time
Was reminded of this recently. Gosh it sends the shivers.
MY god, i'd forgotten that Subliminal Cuts tune. Massive
Another classic, bit later...
Orbital - Chime:
Good god man u didn’t know about this…..
I'd just forgotten the original, not listened to that album in along time. Hard track to get a good remix from I think.
Thinking of good mainstream house tunes from that 2000-ish era, this always sounded good to me
Watching the sun go down to this,just washes over you,sublime;
This one came to mind last night while watching a film - Banco de Gaia 'Heliopolis'
Beautiful and almost forgotten. Got the 12"somewhere.
Anybody remember this:
Rollo goes Mystic - Love love love
that Banco de Gaia tune was on Northern Exposure 2. Very well worn!
Just remembered this Prodigy tune:
Everybody in the place:
