Hi have four CCTV cameras around my house, I have a real problem with spiders building webs across the lens! Luckily the cameras are low enough that I can get at them with a feather duster on a long stick but its not ideal.
Any suggestions on a solution?

Not sure whether chestnut brown suits your interior decor but ....

Conkers

Spiders hate conkers

I should have specified that the cameras are outside the house so conkers might work ๐Ÿ™‚

move the cameras away from the edges so that they are the furthest point that way the webs will be behind the lens?

They are cylindrical units like this

and the spiders seem to love crawling across the front itself and building webs from the sunshade down to the bottom.

Bit of grease or Vaseline on the hood might make it harder for them?

Betterware do a spider stop spray, not sure if it really works but could be worth a go.

Ah, I like the Vaseline idea. Spider stop spray is something I've not heard of but sounds useful.
