Cynfal Farm cottages. Has its own halt on the Tallylyn steam railway. Handy for beaches, hills and CYB. Plus at that age the CAT at Muck n fluff will be great for them.

Had a week in one of these beautiful cottages in Tremadog 3 years ago.
Near sea, mountains, steam railway, nice village pub...

I like porthmadog area or Llandudno.

Already booked for the latter next summer. You need to book up early to get a nice place.

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village offers self catering Log Cabins half way between Porthmadog and Dolgellau. There are lots of beaches between Barmouth and Porthmadog and they are all about 30 minutes drive away. For mountain biking Coed y Brenin is just 2 miles down the road and for other family friendly cycle routes the Mawddach Trail and Trawsfynydd Lake route are also close by.
Find out more about us and all there is to do in our area on our website www.logcabinswales.co.uk or call us 01766 540219 🙂

Nice trade ad trawsfynydd holiday village. Are you paying STW or just hoping for free advertising here?
Abersoch is always nice if you're looking for a beach holiday. I've never had to stay there as I live in Snowdonia but I know there's many holiday lets available.
Maybe have a look here.

From the forum rules:
"No Trade or business advertising – except bona fide retailers may respond to genuine enquiries from potential customers."

FWIW, my experiences of using Trawsfynydd log cabins have always been good.
