[Closed] Holiday Destinations - winter sun recommendations

Hi,

For various reasons, I will not be taking any proper holiday until end of November/December this year.

I have a wife and young daughter (will be 1 3/4 by Nov), so escaping to somewhere exotic mountain biking is not really on the cards.

Is there anywhere that is:

(a) warmish
(b) not too mammoth a flight - 7 hrs probably tops
(c) has a mix/any surf/hills/ability to walk/bike on the hills
(d) not one of the Canary Islands (did that last year)
(c) has a decent selection of hotels

Not too fussed about price, but would like to be able to spend roughly 2 weeks in that area. My thoughts have varied from Southern USA to one of the Islands off Africa so far.

Looking for inspiration.
