"What whisky for...?" generally elicits a response of Highland Park from me. It's the safe answer, everyone likes it, lightly smoked, mixed sherry/bourbon casks, all good stuff, avoiding the extremes of Islay and the subtleties of Speyside.
Been out tonight and just popped a miniature of HP (freebie for taking the Westray/ Papa Westray flight. MMMMM that's a lovely drop of stuff, now I remeber why it's my default answer.
