I want to make a logo in Illustrator for our running club newsletter and ideally I'd like to use a font that looks like an old typewriter would. So, without wading through each font on Illustrator can somebody suggest one that is likely to do the job. it will have to be one in Illustrator, mind. ta.

You can't be bothered to look through your installed fonts within illustrator?
Try Courier, otherwise I'm sure there are a number of free typewriter style fonts out there.

There weren't as many as I thought. I have now been through 'em and had a change of plan.
