Bedfore I prescribe the above for said modem, does anyone have any ideas?

It's an old NTL modem. Very frequently, the RDY and SYNCH leds go off or start flashiing so I have to "re-boot" the modem to get back on broadband via wifi. Is it a case of getting a new modem from Virgin or are there some fixes to try.

Recommendations very much appreciated.

Ta

I would have a word with virgin and see if you can get a new one. Have you tried using a working one on your line.?

I gave up on Virgin when they couldn't sort out reliability and capacity problems. Moved to O2 and barely had a problem...

may sound stupid but you have got a cordless landline phone anywhere near it?

my sky started dropping out then we relaised the new cordless phone was on the same frequency, you can change it on the hub.

Phone their support line?

They've always been really helpful when I've had problems.

+1 for 'ring virgin'. They'll probably be falling over themselves to deNTLify your connection.

talk to Virgin, assuming you;re on cable switching suppliers isn't an option.

My experience with their customer services has always been pretty good.
