Well, I've procurred some nice Cumberland sausages, and have some fine green beans, and mushrooms.

But:

I can't decide whether to have my potatoes as herb+ mustard mash, or as chips?

There will probably be a beer+ onion gravy.

Please help! I will go with the majority choice.

Oh what a terrible dilema.

Some chips AND mustard mash. And I'd suggest making gravy onions... fry chopped onions, add some red wine, bit of water, bisto... nice.

For mustard mash it has to be grainy dijon. Looks better ๐Ÿ™‚

Green beans, cook, drain, back to pan with a splash of olive oil and salt and pepper.

Mash is winning...

Some good tips, Conor. You must be a hit with the ladies, with your silky culinary skilz!

But I must insist on ENGLISH mustard; I want to taste it...

CTC; liking the garlic in the water idea, I do that with pasta sometimes.

You know what, there is a whole website full of my recipes, videos and advice. And I'm still single. The way to a man's heart is through his stomach, but it's not the same for women!! But saying that the last girl I dated I met her because of food (no, not in the queue to a kebab shop on saturday night).

LOL!

I've met some quite nice young ladies in kebab shops!

I'm going with mash. TBH, I haven't had mash for a while, and the wash-mashin is on.
