Either my tubeless system has just gone bang in the shed or there's been an elephant in there playing with himself!

LOL. I remember staring stupidly at a newly mounted tyre once as the inner tube slowly escaped through a gap and expanded into a football sized balloon before expoding and leaving my ears ringing for hours.

did you bend down & try to release the valve as it went off, too ?
