Don't normally get it when it's raining. If it does ever stop raining then I'll get it for a couple of weeks but then it seems to run its course - seems as I've got older it's less of a problem.

Fexofenadine was the most effective anithistamine I've used. It was always quite expensive though so the GPs would be reluctant to perscribe it - don't know if that is still the case.

Mine has started these last couple of days, with biking and golfing being my hobbies I get it bad,my eyes end up a right mess, suppose there has to be a down side to this nice weather,I wear contacts too so can't get any drops to relieve it.

Take antihistamines all year and you stop suffering.

Boots hayfever eye drops help me along with popping a hayfever tablet.

I wear contacts and get hayfever, Beconase (or generic equivalent) nasal spray normally works for me. I don't know if it's because the eyes and nose are linked by a duct, or if it's something else that means it works, or if it's a placebo effect.
