I think she's got one or two prints available commercially and I know she's got a portfolio on line somewhere.

Drop me a mail (in profile) if you want and I'll get her to forward me details.

I mustn't upset her though. She's an illustrator at a book publisher and her boyfriend works at Rapha - so lots of nice freebies!

Bridget Riley +1:

Bit of Hockney, looks gorgeous in real life:

It's a shame you can't get one of these to put on your wall though:

Alberto Giacometti
Everyone knows him for his sculptures (which I found powerful when standing face-to-face), but it's always been his drawings and paintings for me...

andy_hamgree Olafur Eliasson? Tate Modern turbine hall installation. Well worth popping in to see what's currently installed. My other favourite is Anish Kapoors effort:

Whilst we're on the subject of art.

Lil Grips has developed a keen interest in paintings. We bought her a couple of huge compendiums of famous pictues which she likes looking through.

So, what art for a 2 year old? 🙂

Which ones does she look at the most/show most interest in?

mcmoonter- I would like to see more of your own work if you can post some?

OK, some random pics. The Velasquez samples were from a Scholarship at the Prado from the RA. The Landscapes are from Orkney, no need to explain the origins of the folks on bikes.

Lovely pictures mcmoonter, i especially like the Orkney paintings, though the water colour work is also very nice. I hope to see then in real liife one day.

There is a very good wildlife artist who lives in Orkney called Tim Wooton, he paints larger pictures but I do like his studies,

If anybody wants a 65 x 45 cm top quality print of the Sian Wilson Chernobyl picture, give me a shout. She still has a couple from the original run.

😕 Don't get it - pics please!

Someone should start a STW virtual gallery thread. I would do, but I have no art to contribute apart from uneducated critique and pictures of bikes in unkempt gardens...
