I want to learn more about engineering in particular electrical systems. ICS are advertising a BTEC level 3 course in electrical engineering, which seems interesting. Has anyone used this company before? The other option would be to do a course with the open unversity but this will probably take me much longer to get a recognised course. Not to mention it will cost more.

I would probably find night school awkward as I work different shifts and they often extend into the evening. What was the standard of the course materials like?

TBH I can't remember it was nearly 10 years ago, they send you out a folder and corse notes you read them, I think you have access to a tutor, and basically have your test for that module if you pass it you get your next module. Just found it hard going.
