I just have.

Three couples with several kids are having a grand old time next door. They're all Romanian but I'm sure they're aware. Cutting each others' hair, smoking, kids on trampoline. It's not the first time so I thought sod it and let the rozzers know.

I was thinking about posting something along these lines earlier on.

The house next door has been empty since we moved in a couple of years ago. The owner returns most weekends to do some DIY preparing it to be either sold or rented out.

Since the lockdown, this 70 odd year old has been everyday - A 120 mileround trip - to carry on doing DIY. I tried to speak to him but he's adamant it's ok, I cba to argue the point so I leave him to it.

Now if it was a social gathering I'd have done the same as you and called it in.

The arseholes who live next door but one had grandma visiting all day yesterday, I recognised her car and her parking style (about three feet from the kerb).

I didn't grass them up, as I'm sure they had a really good reason to break the rules.

Report them. They clearly think the rules don't apply to them

Yep. Stupid woman 2 doors up had some other family drop kids off to play with hers yesterday, after her 2 kids were already out riding round in the street unsupervised.

Tbh she's a ****ing liability anyway, always stinks of booze and I've been not far from raising child protection concerns with social services before as she doesn't look after them properly. But this was a step too far seeing as we have a theatre nurse next door and a couple who are both ambulance paramedics, all in our little cul de sac.

Hopefully she'll get a visit to knock some sense into her. 101 call handler certainly reacted like she was absolutely over the amount of stupid people they are having to deal with.

Nope not seen any neighbours break the rules since the kids around the corner finally got the message after an old buy had a rant at them.

It is more noticeable I think past few days that families are flouting the advice and mixing, running with the dogs over the fields as usual I've seen families at the kids' schools with three generations out walking and cycling (that's another rant), when they don't live together. One of which the daughter is a nurse so you'd think would know better.

To be sold or rented. So it's work then? If he is keeping the social distancing rules then it is within guidelines. Work hasn't been banned. Someone will be getting a home to live in. Don't see the problem.

The road past my house sounds like a normal saturday afternoon atm! Loads of cars and ****s on stupidly loud motorbikes, I assume they are all on essential journeys.....

I'll be honest, all this neighbours spying on neighbours and being encouraged to report them to the authorities feels a little Orwellian to me. I'm sure in some instances it may be justified but for every one that is, I reckon there are a dozen more curtain twitching busibodies who have been itching to report people for "being different to us". Nobody on this thread, I'm sure but we've all met the type.

Seen 3 packs (i.e. >5) of roadies cycling near mine in the last 2 days, no idea what they must be thinking.

I'm just hoping they get caught by one of the road checks while they're out.
Don't see any point in reporting them though as they were travelling too fast.

The fact that they're Romanian has nothing to do with it - my point was they could attempt to use that as an excuse.. Typical STW piety again.

They're putting themselves, us, the NHS at risk.

Fella I know has just messaged me today to see if I'll go out riding with him tomorrow, says it's easy enough to keep a safe 2 metres apart ! I replied it's not really the done thing , he seemed quite put out !?!? Guess he'll find someone to go with him , I'll keep an eye on Strava , he's sure to put it up.

I don't plan on reporting them but my neighbours opposite (who are in their 60s) have had their son and wife over for the day last Sunday and again today. They live about 8 miles away in a medium sized town, we are out in the sticks and although there are very few people around here I do think it's taking the piss especially when they are on the edge of being higher risk, and because we all live in a small converted ex farm it really is very obvious to everyone else that they are not bothering to follow the rules. I am the only one left who has to keep going to work, I have put every possible precaution in place at work to avoid our provision of veterinary care causing undue risk to either ourselves or clients, and it grates to see them ignoring the advice, which is really pretty clear.

Really pleased to say that since lockdown I've not seen anyone taking the piss round here. Lots of people chatting to friends they meet from a safe distance as they get their exercise , but not much traffic, teenagers not congregating, even the interesting families behaving themselves.

Long queue just now to get into our Tesco Express, but loads of bags of charcoal so my daily exercise became essential shopping, and I'll be drinking beer as I BBQ in a couple of hours👍

Downstairs young family has had gran and another family around with no distancing, also their car disappears for half a day+ at a time.

Not me but someone called the police on the neighbours who decided to have a BBQ on Thursday evening and went round asking multiple neighbours if they wanted to join them. I got an invite but politely and firmly declined. Guessing someone else either took offence to the gathering or not getting an invite themselves!

My neighbours just got in the motor and drove to their daughters and back to pick up a bag of shopping, away all of 5 mins. Usually she comes round every day with the shopping or one of the grandkids brings it or one of the girlfriends, they all pop in the house sit around the garden, sometimes all together sometimes not.
When not living at the grandparents the kids live with the mother 5 mins walk away. So they are mixing all the time and haven't stopped.

Worst of this is that the mother works at the local hospital.

Some people just don't see things ever happening to them until its too late, and if they cause it to someone else, well thats just tough. We very much have a me me me society

That really is quite magnificent. Well done.

Bringing their ethnicity into it from the off, then saying it has nothing to do with it and then immediately contradicting yourself with another unfounded speculation that suggests you do think it is relevant.

Truly special stuff.

Just for the sake of argument, this is stw of course, what if they all (except the kids) work in the same warehouse or other 'essential' workplace together? I'm not saying it's not still against rules, but conceptually it's ok if they are working together but not if they are socialising?

It seems the rules are applied based on whether we still need people to do useful stuff for us sometimes.

We went past an house on Wednesday, probably 2 miles from the nearest village.
Around 30 people, looking like they were having a party in the garden, mostly all sat around a large table. At least 10 cars parked outside.
My GF rang 101 to report them, as she was a little incensed at it.
We got a phone call back the next day from the Policeman who visited them. They were having a family funeral that day, and he basically said there wasnt a lot he could do, he just advised them to not do it again.
Total waste of time reporting it.

Not really. You didn't know that it was a type of gathering that is allowed at the moment.

Weddings, parties etc. not currently allowed.

Funerals are.

IIRC he rules relate to ‘gatherings of more than two’ people not from the same household. Do you and your mate add up to more than two?

(although it’s hard to keep track of what’s a ‘rule’ and what Is ‘advice’)

I suspect that rules there just to make the police's lives a little easier rather than being called out to every gay couple seen in public.

Everyone seems to be behaving near me. "Bob the nob" missus and daughter keep going out loads and ferrying the many kids she has about, but the children transporting seems to have slowed - they had friends visiting at first. Wouldn't like to be them stuck at home with about 8 kids (they foster a couple) as well as two older kids in their 20's and another 4 of their own. Even the eldest son is home at the minute (regularaly used to arrive home in police vans).

I assume the 'breeze block' wendy house (as he calls it) is fully utilised (it's a habitable residence with no planning permission).

I'm leaving them to it as I wouldn't want to be stuck in with his clan. My poor neighbours next to them are stuck in listening to the noise (both high risk neighbours).

In the last week;

Have reported a little **** on a field/pit bike razzing about on a footpath/local beauty spot. Spotted him again the other afternoon.
Another today razzing down a main road on a little pit bike thing - no helmet, scarf over his mouth.

Loads of Maxpower/ popping n’bangin zorst roadmen having a weed meet in the local public park. Rang local police.

Got slagged off from local chav mum so gave her both barrels as she wouldnt put dog on a lead that was bothering mine “ive got two kids to deal with”

Gave finger to a Streethawk wannabe for wheelie-ing a suzuki gixxer in residential 30zone.

Shrugged at the 6 or 7 group of local chavs out on shiny new Halfords specials without helmets and tracky bottoms tucked in.

I keep getting appalled at the number of UK dead but then when i step outside and see the selfish ****s out there i understand why.

Nothing to report round here (not that I’d consider doing so), everyone is behaving themselves and I see there are signs up as you pass into town stating “no tourists/holiday home owners” and the car park in town is empty/barricaded with tape, none of the 9 holiday homes are occupied in my mums street of 22 houses so I guess the message is getting through to folk. Local mini Tesco & co-op are fully stocked but empty of folk. To be honest my town (Kirkcudbright) is usually mobbed at Easter but it’s now deserted, have to say it suits me fine.

Local woods seem to be the worst places for little groups out with their mates walking/cycling, 3 in Esholt woods the other day,no helmets trakkie bottoms etc,one of them on a very distinctive Purple cotic with a hub motor ebike conversation, didn't have to peddle it and the bloody thing went like rocket!
Considered ringing the Police but decided it would be a waste of their time

Reported 6 teens having a party by the stream across the field from my house. Crates of lager. Music. Why should I go work on Corona wards and them have party???

Seeing groups of young lads on mountain bikes up my local spot constantly.

Chav neighbour two doors down keeps having visitors. Her daughters (late teens) keep having boy racers turning up.

Old couple behind go out daily to see thier son's family and daughters's family. "Its ok because they live on farms"

Was out walking my two young children across the fields today. Got to a stile. Car stopped and a young lad then told me aggressively to "stay out of our fxxxing area" before speeding off.
Was 0.9 miles from home :-/

I'm thinking of reporting some canal boat dwellers.

They've put little signs up near 'their' part of the canal, saying that people should keep away and not use the canal path, that it's unfair to them, and that there are 'vulnerable people' living there. They've not obstructed the path, but have placed things right next to it that make it awkward to go along.
Fair enough. I disagree, but they can make the request.

Today, however, I was cycling home from work on the opposite side of the canal and noticed a little gathering - one was chopping wood, two more were sitting in chairs drinking beer, and two others were standing on the other side of the path (the path they claim isn't wide enough for social distancing) chatting. There were others wandering to and fro from their boats - altogether there were at least seven of them.

It irritated me that they would tell others to keep away but were happy to break social isolation rules themselves. The path does go fairly close to their boats, but certainly further away than the high street path that is immediately outside my from door.

meh. Blame an already socially isolated population for not isolating the way you isolate. There can be 7 Roma in 2 bedroom flats near me, which is partly cultural but a blind eye is turned by the landlords operating the premises. Families are huge but appropriate accommodation does not exist. 3 Deaths this week in that community and I reckon they will suffer more than most because of circumstances beyond their control. Force them all back into houses and I reckon you would increase the risk.

Just poke yourself every so often and remind yourself how privileged and lucky you are.

It is a truly serious situation, but everyone is different.

is it 111 to report this type of behaviour ?
3 times this week I have seen the hillbillies down the road congregating in their garden with visiting hillbillies, fixing cars, drinking beer, kids running everywhere playing on the bouncy castle and running amok up and down the road with no regard for others.

If these cheap Tesco charcoal briquettes don't catch soon I'm going to reported for having a ****ing bonfire rather than a BBQ 😳

Only if it’s for medical advice.
