Birthday treat for wee Nobeerette in January. We'll be in London from about 2pm on the friday, go to HPW on the saturday, and train home on sunday, 'bout lunchtime.

Where to stay?. I'd rather stay in an airbnb type apartment centrally in the city, rather than out near HPW itself, but I'm naive to travelling times and subway lines etc.

Cheers.

It'll be an overground service from Euston if coming from central London.

The train station isn't particularly close to the studio tour either - although I suppose you could get a cab if you wanted though.

Train from Euston would be about 20 minutes or so, staying in the Euston area won't feel very central and Euston road is noisy.

Islington is nice so I'd opt to be around Upper street if you can, plenty of places to eat round there and not a million miles from Euston.

There's a shuttle bus from Watford Junction station.

Hogsmeade is quite close - couple of nice pubs and a cracking sweet shop!
