OK, I'm feeling charitable - the Christians can be included too.

My mate Wiki says no :

"The festival was originally celebrated from late December to early January on a date determined by the lunar Germanic calendar"

I do hope all those atheists are doing the decent thing and working so we God fearing types can enjoy the birthday of our Lord ๐Ÿ˜‰

hope everyone has a great day

Last night a former gf who is still a very close mate, phoned me to tell me her daughter, who is 23, is going to die of cancer within a few weeks. She's had cancer for over a year but that was the first confirmation of her imminent death. Her daughter knows she going to die of her cancer but is unaware that it's going to be so soon. I have known her since she was 7 years old, to say that this is the worse Christmas would be an understatement. Sadly Christmas doesn't immune us from the harsh realities of life. You just have to carry on and make the best of what life throws at you. There really isn't an alternative.
