Having just caught the end on tv: Dude, where's my car? Love it. Stupid and yet I could watch it over and over again. Bonus that Mrs Clubber likes it too 🙂

Shibby!

Bubba Ho tep - Bruce Campbell in a zimmer frame chase scene - hilarious.
The producers - new version - just for Uma Thurmans legs.
Clerks 2 - Kevin Smith at his best.
Jay and silent bob strike back for Matt Damon and Ben affleck doing lemon face/ scary face.
Weekend at Bernies - oldie but a goody.

Never Ending Story? Most of those 80s fantasy films actually.
Can't believe someone said Stardust, brilliant film I reckon. Course I won't say it too loudly. Might have to find a copy of TPB, never seen it.

I loved Stardust, but I really like Neil Gaiman's book, and the start and end were largely filmed in Castle Combe, near where I live. Bring It On's fun, too, nothing to do with Ms Dushku, tho'.

Uh... I really like the universally panned Dune by De Laurentis.

I just can't help it. Its got its flaws and anything on film is going to struggle with the scale of the book, but I love the epic, grubby, dark gothic feel.

Weird Science
St Elmo's Fire
Tuff Turf
The Pick-up Artist

All movies that at 18 years old I loved, but now 22 years later make me look down at my shoes and mumble and say 'I'd probably watch them again if they were on telly one night'

Has anyone mentioned The Karate Kid yet? Must be the ultimate guilty pleasure surely?

Pretty in pink

Surely anything with Harry Dean Stanton in it is ok by default?
