BOA vs Python - plenty of laughs although not sure for the reason the film intended

Anything with Steven Seagal.

Fire Down Below, it's an 'eco-thriller' according to the back of the box.

🙂

Defintiely need to change the medication.

Boa Cs Pyrhon is hilarious, the couple 'making out' then the snake takes over scene takes some beating.

Following you around whilst reciting the script!

As long as you don't act it as badly as Nicolas Cage or Jon Malcovic! Hang on, that's not actually possible is it?

A stupid stupid stupid film that manages to reduce me to tears of laughter every time I see it. Daft, immature, brilliant.

😆 Dez - I think you've nailed exactly why Con-Air is perfect for this thread!

I really should watch this Con-Air film you speak of, sounds like a hoot.

How could I have forgotten Commando, rubbish dialogue and all? Almost as bad as Con-Air's "put the bunny back in the box" line, though it's close.

Dezb is spot on, butch cassidy is a classic. Flash Gordon is so bad it's actually more awesome than surf mat as featured in surf mat's dreams.

Now, karate kid. Guilt pleasure or old skool classic?

Torm - Hot Rod just made a massive leap up my 'must watch' list. TBH I can't beleive a man of your calibre has made it this far without seeing the cinematic gold that is Con-Air!

Dirty Dancing?!? Perr-leeeze!

Nobody puts baby in the corner

She's not even sat in the blimmin corner! Jeez.

A Star is Born [Streisand/Kristofferson]. Probably not known to some of our younger forumers because it was never released on dvd. I was ready to live that rock'n'roll lifestyle...

How high, the bit where they liquidise their mates body parts to smoke, so bad but so funny
And I normally hate films like that

There was clearly a post protruding from the wall and she was definitely sat in a corner, just not an overly pronounced one.

I present for your consideration m'lud exhibit A.

The Princess Bride is a classic. I watched it with my boy the other day (I would have watched it without him TBH). Superb stuff.

The sword fight / banter is brilliant

Ha ha... Neither am I!

Butch Cassidy doesn't belong in guilty pleasures, that film is a proper classic.

"What happened to the old bank? It was beautiful."
"People kept robbing it."
"Small price to pay for beauty."

I also love Con Air, its a lot darker than you'd expect in places, especially when Steve Buscemi turns up, as he is terrifying in it.

Love, Actually as well, to my eternal shame.

It's a corner. And nobody puts baby in it.
I've never watched it not hungover and it's 'guilty' pleasures.
Don't worry I am ashamed. 😳

-dumb and dumber ("Mrs Samsonite!")
-labyrinth ("Saraaaah!")
-predator ("...and double it.")
-ooooh, pretty much any Arnie film come to think of it.
-Transformers The Movie (80's one)

And I loooooove the Princess Bride. Nothing guilty about that though.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space...........

I think I was about 15 when I saw it and VERY drunk, not sure it would have the same appeal, but had us making shadow puppets on the dark walk home and found it very funny...................................

Oh I feel the shame coming on now;

Miss Congeniality 1 and 2 (I have box set)
Cannonball Run - my favourite film ever! "Because you're small. S M All!!"
Dukes of Hazzard
Bring it On
Any of the Dirty Harry films after the first (which was known as excellent but I I love all 5)

Happy Gilmore, Joe Dirt and Hot Rod are 3 of my top four films (does Lord of the Rings count as a bad film?).

Haha, I totally forgot about D.A.R.Y.L.

I like Crank and Crank 2, they should be terrible but are too mad not to like.

I had a very sad moment this morning and this thread has cheered me right up 🙂

Now I must think of a crap film I like!
Er, does Tremors count?

I don't think so, cos Fred Ward just doesn't do crap films.

An absolute classic...

Cut to the scene where the camera pans out showing a chainsaw reved up and ready for action attached to the chap's handless arm (his hand was eaten by a zombie). Whilst locking 'n' loading a sawn off shotgun in readiness to deal pain to zombies with the immortal line, "groovy".

Edit: image got a bit a skewed

Butch Cassidy
Blues Brothers
Princess Bride
Escape From New York
American Werewolf in London

are in no way shape or form "guilty pleasures" - they are all cast iron classics

real guilty pleasures

Con Air (as already stated by many)
Flashdance (love Kevin Bacon's "angry dancing" scene)
Rocky 3 and 4 (not seen the later ones so can't comment on those)
Armagedon
The films of Clif Richard

Sorry Ghostbusters is not a guilty pleasure, it is also a classic

Charlies Angels on the other hand...

Cameron Diaz dancing in her pants
