I've just downloaded latest Will Young single. What musical tastes are you going to own up to enjoying in private?

If I had a bit of a thing for the work of the Rochdale diva Lisa Stansfield, there's no way I'd admit it on here.

Lady Ga Ga.

Is it wrong for a male person of ahem advancing years to still harbor thoughts of attending one of her gigs.

Disco's not a "guilty" pleasure, is it?? In that case... Macfadden & Whitehead from the late 70's... And....
UB40...

Medieval folk rock - mostly Gryphon and Amazing Blondel. It's in a playlist called "X-Rated" on my iPod.

I found what i thought was an amazing track the other day.

"Little Sadie" by Doc Watson

I don't know anything about it or the artist but thought it was brilliant and played it a few times back to back, only for mrs Scud to say "what the hell is that old cr/p?"

Jeez, half of these are on my cycling playlist - Alphabeat, Orson, Katy Perry.

I own a (the?) Gary Barlow album. But I don't listen to it.

So today it has been the beach boys

Been reading too many STW music threads or something TeeJ? One should never ever feel guilty about enjoying the Beach Boys.

I remember liking the song Victoria Beckham did with Dane Bowers years ago. Never admitted to liking it before and am a touch embarrased, especially as it went head to head in the charts with Groovejet/Sophie Ellis Bexter which everyone seemed to love except me.

Also I think the Pet Shop Boys are alright. Glad I got that off my chest. Phew!!
