I'm donating my old Windows XP desktop to my grandad who wants to get on the internet - he's never used a computer before but is quite nifty on his mobile phone so reckon he'll pivk it up. I've looked on Amazon for some basic books (of which there are many) and seen a few that might suit him but was wondering if anyone can actually recommend one?
cheers

I realise there's a certain irony in giving him an online course, but maybe his grandson can help him with it!

XP has a nice little tour built in to that explains double clicking and how windows works. After that he should pick up the basics...

The Solitaire game is there to help people become familiar with mouse usage and some of the other windows conventions.
