The whole ‘invasive species = bad’ thing is a bit of a popular misconception. It’s a wild animal that’s well established in the ecosystem

That's oxymoronic. The bark stripping and nest robbing aren't at all sustainable.

If you insist on continuing your ‘Chinese wet market’ approach to feeding the family, can you at least take note of areas to look at and maybe pay more attention there.

Aside from the fact you evidently have bugger all knowledge of what a wet market is or why it was an issue regarding Covid 19 I refer you to my previous response.

Anyone slaughtering any animal should be inspecting the carcass, that should be perfectly obvious.

If I was that concerned about it I would take it to the butchers (ours are licenced, don't worry) and let them deal with it.

As for

Game dealers.

Either you're not very bright or coming it. Either way, here's a snippet from the legislation you're waving around:

wild game” means—
(a)

wild land mammals which are hunted (including wild mammals living within an enclosed area under conditions of freedom similar to those enjoyed by wild game); and
(b)

wild birds;

So yeah, just because stuff comes from Etive doesn't mean everything does.

Hi WCA - Long time no speak (used to go by the forum name Chojin). I've got just got a new PCP air rifle and am in desperate need of the target practice, happy to come along and take a few down for you? 🙂

Trap arrives tomorrow and directly behind the firing line is the thin strip of woods and then peoples houses.

I have considered getting an air gun but unless I fired from the roof of my house I would be basically aiming at my neighbours TV and hoping a squirrel blocked the shot.

Having said that, if you want to revise the magpie population there are more firing anglers available. I shall have a ponder or PM me if you are keen

@Squirrelkillerking.

WELL DONE, but I could have gotten the definition of what 'wild game' is out of any dictionary.

Unrelated to that link, you asked me what game we got and I told you, you asked where and I told you.
I did point out all meat for human consumption, applicable to all unless you're a crazed nutter living out in some rural area gets postmortem inspection, and offered you the link to the act, which you then read, found a bit about the definition of what 'Wild Game' is, and well to be frank squirrelking, I haven't got a fuqqing clue what that has to do with anything.

As to thick.
That is funny.
