I am currently considering an 8ft x 6ft greenhouse (summer project to be ready for planting next year) but the space I have for it kinda dictates that the door is on the long (8ft) side due to access (I could get in at the end but it would be a squeeze). I can find loads of shorter ones (ie 6ft x 6ft) with front doors but all the longer ones seem to have doors at the end.
Any ideas?
For the door to be on the long side, the roof would have to be pitched the opposite direction to make the side of the greenhouse tall enough to accommodate the height of the door.
i.e that gable end of a green house is about 7 feet tall but the eaves are only 5 about feet tall. The door needs to be on the gable.

Thought I’d seen one somewhere so googled it. ‘Pent roof’ seems to be the term for the reverse lean to style with a door in the long side.
