To define, "best rock song" I think it has to make you mosh a bit, PIG somewhat (play imaginary guitar)and headbang, no matter where you are.

- The Bends. Radiohead

- Cum on Feel the Noize. Slade
- Start Me Up. The Rolling Stones

Probably something by the Stones. Sympathy has what I think great guitar solos are about, not flashy or overdone, to the point and blistering. Southern Man by Neil Young is another great example as are Sting Me and Remedy by The Black Crowes.

Sting Me and Remedy are brilliant tunes. Playing The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion only the other day!

Aye, its a great album. And whilst I'm at it anybody suggesting November Rain needs to go out and have a good long talk with themselves. What a lot of self indulgent musical ****ery. That's the point Slash and Duff should have got a new singer.
