There's a cafe in the Tate itself. Whenever I've visited, there always seems to be a plethora of yummy mummies and older ladies doing lunch, which is often a good indication of the quality of fare available. I understand the Tate do their own coffee brand too.

Hope I'm not too late to suggest a couple...

The Regency is a joy, 'tis true. Well worth a visit.

Other nice spots;
The Rocks, on VBR
Pimlico Village, on Lupus Street
Pimlico Fresh, Wilton Road
Kazan - Just across the road from Pimlico Fresh

However, what are you doing fannying about with coffee? The finest place to get any sort of drink near Tate Britain would be

When are you down this way then? ๐Ÿ™‚

Tate Britain cafe is not bad. They do breakfast viewings sometimes(might just be for 'friends of tate' not sure. We as a family, have donated quite a few paintings to the 'nation' so get invites) which are great, empty galleries, then a nice breakfast before the place opens.

When the machines look like they're having fun at the worker's expense, humanity = doomed.

Borough Market is just round the corner. Fri/Sat is foody paradise, so long as you don't mind crowds. Monmouth Coffee good for caffeine addicts and pastries.

There's a Starbucks just round the corner... ๐Ÿ˜‰ *

You going to the Krafterk gig? I went last night, was amazing.
There's a few restaurants and coffee places just along from the OXO building. Otherwise, Borough Market has everything food and drink you could possibly want.

*awaits righteous flaming from CFH.

You going to the Kraftwerk gig? I went last night, was amazing.

Hmmm, probably quite jealous of that, but I couldn't stick an entire concert. Half an hour, forty-five minutes max. No, I'm planning a day tour of free cultural stuff in the smoke, then another couple of years hiding from London.
