my lab does the hiding behind the curtains trick, all the time. not sure if he likes looking out of the patio windows, or if it's to try and keep a bit cooler

My little Irish Terrier Beamish, she's the best thing to have around. 14 years old now and I don't want her to get any older.

I hate the dog threads on here.* They make me long for the days when my beloved Spaniel, Fred, would have been curled up on my lap! 😀

Two children growing up fast, about to start a new job which is working from home.....Am seriously looking at our next dog!

*Of course I don't, you doughnut!

Ah I love a dog thread, even better now we have our own

This is Molly, from a local rescue centre. Very nervous and scared (and tired) of nearly everything when this was taken. Now she's full of confidence and bounds up to see everybody.

Dogs are awesome 🙂

@ Dez - poor pooch, what happened? Do hope that she'll make a speedy recovery. 🙂

Always a pleasure to see pics of Rogue and mrben's Spinone. 8)

@ Lazgoat - nice to see an unusual breed, is she a working dog?

Everyone else - super pics, you lucky folk. 😀

Inspired by this we decided that Fin could come on her first ride this morning. Picked a short loop from home and was a bit nervous as to how she would be. Turns out shes a natural. Runs at the side of the bike. She can even untie laces whilst on the move. Will need to teach her how to tie them.
She wont be doing Cutgate tomorrow. Maybe this time next year

@ muppet4 & cinnamon_girl: We're not not a country pursuits/shooting family so she won't ever get to work the real thing. She's from working lines and I've done some basic gundog training with her and I'm sure she could be a great working dog.

I'd love to do some more training and Tests with her.
