[Closed] Got a weekend in / near hull - any outdoor things to do? Cool stuff??

any suggestions for things to do whilst I am up there

Bempton (sp?) cliffs for seabirds, near Bridlington IIRC, not that far from Hull.
The Deep in Hull itself.
Elvington Air Museum (ok, it's near York, but again, not that far away).
Clive Sullivan Way* 😉

* it's the main road out of Hull westwards!

I went to Hull once.

It was shut.

Or you could take some fishing gear & catch supermarket trolleys/scrap metal in general outside Makro.

Humber Bridge was for a while the longest single-span suspension bridge in the world. The tops of the towers are noticeably further apart than the bases, due to the curvature of the earth.
