Could this be why my mobile data has gone bonkers?
We got a message this morning saying that they believe this has now been fixed. Those affected, could you report back one way or the other please?
Will let you know, was getting some "interesting" ads yesterday on Safari and persistent crashing in Edge.
Not had it so far today, still getting the really loud Mercedes video autoplaying several times per day.
Quick log in on my android phone while cooking supper and all ok except might be a date problem ? Must be early April reading the Rungu article 8)

I've had a tescos ad pop up a few times today.... only way to get rid of it is to leave the STW site. Anybody else had any bother?

Worth noting that these are nothing to do with Google. The address is at
google-security.viruseswarning.com
which means it belongs to viruseswarning.com, not Google. If it was called security-viruseswarning.google.com, then it would be genuine Google. The domain is actually registered in Panama with an obscure owner.
