Buggers! They've removed the links bit! Anyone know how to link to photos on there now, or is it not allowed?

Yeah you can still do it but it's more hassle now.

In Firefox, view the photo you want by clicking on it then right click and select "Copy Image Location".

Paste it here and you'll get something like:

Then slap the [img ][/img ] tags around it - without spaces

Pro Tip: The /sXXX/ bit is the longest dimension in pixels, so you can tweak that to get the size you want.

Ah right. It appear you have to explicitly join google+ to get that.

Yep. You can share your photos with other people, they can follow your photo stream and comment on them. All very "social" and not much use if you just wanted to keep your photos to yourself and not show anyone

It's also no use if you want to email albums to friends - none of the links work, kinda defeating the point of doing it in the first place.

Yes, i used to use the More , Photos link from my Google homepage, i might disable my Google+ account as i never use it.

when you say direct linking do you mean using [img ] etc and the Embed image address?
