My favourite is, if you use Google Maps "Street View" in Legoland (California), the little orange man turns into a Lego Minifig.

If you're just looking for amusing search results, google "recursion".

On a internerd tip, I get a cheap laugh at seeing what Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia, is calling himself whenever I used the service:

p.s for those wondering, I was reading up on Liberia.

The French victories thing is a bit stupid. Everyone seems to have forgotten the French conquering Europe a while back ๐Ÿ™„

The Norman Conquests, for example, don't they teach history in schools any more or is it too violent ??

The Normans weren't French, they were Norman. Originally from Scandinavia I think, hence the name. They were marauding all over the place and the Frankish king gave them a chunk of his territory (Normandy) on the agreement that they'd leave the rest of his kingdom alone.

A few years back, putting '****wit' into google returned Gordon Brown as the top search. Doesn't work anymore.

Surely it was still a separate Kingdom then? You might as well call the Welsh English.

It also reflects a closed view, much as we tend to accuse the Americans of. Have you forgotten, or did you ever know about what the did in the Ivory Coast just a few years back? They saved so many lives in a serious badass are none of us would like to be in.
